Job Description

Our client, an innovative internet services company, is looking for a Contract / Freelance UI/UX Designer

About the Position:

UX/UI Designer will work on solutions that span many user interaction points, including web/mobile applications and mobile apps
You will be working collaboratively with product managers and developers in an iterative design process to define user issues and solutions
The need for flexibility, adaptability and the ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments will be key to success

Responsibilities:

Responsible for designing user interactions on web and mobile apps
Create user experience design storyboards, conceptual maps, wireframes, UI specifications
Conduct brainstorming sessions with users, product managers, developers, and other UX designers
Design user personas, journey maps, day-in-the-life use cases, and other Design Thinking deliverables
Monitor trends and best practices to increase the company's presence regarding design and usability

Qualifications :

3+ years experience creating wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile interfaces
Able to work the entire design lifecycle, starting with capturing initial user requirements through working with the development team to implement the design
Support design work using all available insights including customer feedback, quantitative data and site metrics, and usability findings
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, and prototyping tools, HTML, and CSS
Sound understanding and appreciation of latest UI/UX design concepts and best practices
Ability to handle multiple priorities on tight deadlines without compromising quality
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Education:
Bachelors degree is preferred
