• Call Volume: 6-10 calls/night; 2-5 expected onsite call-ins.
• Phone Consults: 2-4.
• Patient Volume: 12.
• Rounding Included: Yes.
  • For new admissions & surgical patients from previous nights.
• Procedures:
  • EGD, Colonoscopy, pH studies, Manometry, Sigmoidoscopy & PEG/PEG-J tube placement.
  • Esophageal Manometry & pH testing, Pill Cam.
  • Olympus, Hydrogen breath testing & Capsule endoscopy.
  • Use of Propofol.
  • ERCP/EUS (preferred).
• No. of Procedure Rooms: 4 Endo Suites.
• Trauma Level: II.
• EMR: Athena, Cerner, Paragon & EndoPro.
• Duties:
  • Will be responsible for all charting & work completion without an assistant.
  • Will be required to review all of their pathology and complete the line of work.
• Other Info:
  • Hospitalists admit.
  • Well established, highly accomplished Endo Unit team.
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered.

Requirements:

• Active MI License.
• BC.
• ABLS, BLS, ACLS, ATLS.
