Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of experience in an HR role, preferably in recruitment, payroll or employee experience/engagement.
  • High level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be technology savvy
  • Ability to problem solve and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Courteous, professional manner, with a strong service-oriented mindset.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks, and follow-up with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in food/pharmaceutical processing operations, FDA regulated industry, or combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to perform the job successfully (preferred)
  • Must be proficient in MS Office especially Excel and typing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, posting job openings on various platforms, and conducting interviews.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee data, including contract, performance reviews, and training records.
  • Coordinate employee events, including new hire orientation, employee recognition programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Develop positive and strategic relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by the executive team.
  • Draft and edit emails, letters, and other HR related documents.
  • Participate in the development of policies and procedures related to employee relations, benefits, and workforce management.
  • Prepare new-employee files and file documents accordingly.
  • Assist with new-hire processing.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders or invoices
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing items securely
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
