Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
Schedule: Rotating evenings (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) and nights (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend
Compensation: Up to $2,000 weekly (for candidates outside a 50-mile radius) or up to $50/hour
Job Summary: Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse for an exciting Travel and/or Local job in Falmouth, MA 02540 .
Key Responsibilities:Direct day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and long-term care guidelines.
Meet with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan shift services, programs, and activities.
Complete and file required documentation during resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Encourage physicians to review treatment plans, record/sign orders, and progress notes in line with facility policy.
Receive and record physician telephone orders on the Physicians’ Order Form.
Transcribe physician orders into resident charts, medication cards, and care plans as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate nurses’ notes reflecting resident care and responses.
Inform staff of new admissions, expected arrival times, and room assignments.
Participate in facility surveys and inspections conducted by government agencies.
Perform nursing administrative duties per job description.
Participate in the orientation of new residents and their families.
Accompany physicians on rounds and provide updates on resident care.
Review charts for treatment plans, medication orders, and dietary requirements.
Prepare and administer medications safely, verifying resident identity prior to administration.
Carry out all drug administration responsibilities in compliance with LPN scope of practice.
Minimum 2 years of LPN experience in a clinical or long-term care setting.
Graduate of an approved LPN program or accredited nursing college.
Active, unencumbered Massachusetts LPN license.
Current BLS/CPR and AED certification required.
