POSITION TITLE: Pediatric Hospitalist
POSITION DUTIES: Provide full-time inpatient medical care of children and adolescents from admission through discharge, returning patients to their primary care physician at the time of discharge. Perform medical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of hospital inpatients. Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions. Engage in occasional performance of critical care procedures consistent with quality patient care. Serve as accepting physician for referrals from on-call physicians.
Requirements: M.D. or foreign equivalent degree. Completion of residency in Pediatrics. Possession or eligibility for Michigan Medical License
RATE OF PAY: $ 250,000/year
