Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our distribution center team. This position plays a key role in order fulfillment, inventory handling, and logistics operations. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic, accuracy, and the ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately fulfill customer orders using inventory systems and established processes.
• Prepare and package shipments, ensuring timely and complete delivery documentation.
• Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments; verify materials against purchase orders.
• Handle returned or defective materials per guidelines.
• Maintain accurate inventory and storage records; ensure proper labeling and handling.
• Communicate any delays, shortages, or discrepancies to supervisors or leads.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Availability for frequent overtime based on business demand.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving experience.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain if required).
• Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.

Additional Notes

• Visual acuity standards may apply for some inspection tasks.
• This is an entry-level position; training will be provided.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
