Job Description
We are looking for a Senior WebRTC Developer to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing and optimizing our WebRTC client stack, which is integral to supporting real-time voice chat and live streaming features. You will work with a variety of platforms, ensuring that the experience is seamless and scalable for high-concurrency environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of WebRTC across multiple teams.
Develop and optimize the WebRTC client stack for deployment across a wide range of platforms.
Integrate advanced monitoring and tracing tools into the client stack to enhance performance and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with the team, providing and receiving code review feedback to ensure the delivery of high-quality, performant C++ code.
What We're Looking For:
Extensive Experience with C++: You should have 6+ years of professional C++ development experience.
Expertise in WebRTC: A deep understanding of WebRTC concepts and protocols, with hands-on experience in its implementation.
Debugging on Low-End Devices: Practical experience debugging on mobile devices (Android, iOS) or embedded systems.
Strong Communication and Collaboration: Self-motivated, tactful, and empathetic with the ability to work well within a team.
API Design and Maintenance: Experience designing and maintaining APIs is a plus.
