We’re seeking a collaborative, resourceful, and detail-oriented Supervisor, Mail Services to join our Lucasfilm team. This role plays a critical part in supporting Lucasfilm’s operational logistics, ensuring the secure and efficient movement of packages, equipment and materials across multiple sites. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about enabling creativity through operational excellence.
This role is considered Onsite, which means the employee will work 100% onsite 5 days a week at our San Francisco office.
What You’ll Do
Lead and manage daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all logistics activities.
Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are processed according to company procedures
Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams—including Stage, IT, and Production—to schedule and manage complex shipments across multiple locations.
Organize and coordinate regular Ranch runs and other location-based deliveries.
Prepare and manage international shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, customs forms, carnets, and regulatory paperwork.
Ensure all international shipments comply with applicable customs, import/export, and regulatory requirements.
Resolve issues and assist with opening claims for lost and damaged shipments
Engage with specialized couriers, freight forwarders, and third-party vendors to arrange secure and timely transportation across multiple locations.
Utilize Oracle or similar enterprise receiving/shipping systems to receive and process items against purchase orders.
Maintain accurate shipping logs, inventory databases, and receiving reports to support internal audits and inventory control.
Assist Workplace Services team as needed.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, logistics, or warehouse management, with supervisory experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) - College degree is a plus
Experience with Oracle or equivalent shipping/receiving and inventory systems.
Professional appearance and demeanor
Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to effectively work individually and in a team environment
Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
A valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
