(New York, NY), seeks Associate - Corporate Private Equity to work directly with portfolio company management teams, including C-level executives, to develop appropriate financial and accounting controls and reporting processes. Assess and evaluate potential investment opportunities and play a leading role in the due diligence and execution of investments in North America, including the coordination and management of multiple external teams, relationships, and the investment approval process internally. Work in close partnership with Lone Star's Investment team members on value creation projects designed to promote and support Hudson America's portfolio companies. Develop processes and implement operational best practices in relation to strategy and business development, marketing, human resources, operating, and information systems. Support monetization efforts of portfolio companies, working closely with sell-side advisors and management across all facets of transaction strategy and execution. Limited international (Canada) and domestic travel required (20% of the time).Education Required: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Engineering (any) or related field.Experience Required: Five (5) years' experience in job offered or a related position at financial investment advisory firm or credit management company.Special Skills Required: Must have 5 years of experience with each: 1) Underwriting mergers and acquisitions, distressed equity transactions, and growth equity transactions; 2) building and auditing fully integrated Leveraged Buyout, Discounted Cash Flows, and operating models used for supporting investment decisions; 3) Performing due diligence coordination, management of funds flow, and support of legal documentation drafting and review; 4) Supporting debt issuance processes for invested assets including financial structuring and transaction execution; 5) Managing portfolio multi-assets including Real Estate and Financial Services; 6) Managing the development and execution of value creation and business strategy efforts in coordination with C-suite and portfolio companies' stakeholders by mapping company functions, cost structures, governance review, and developing cost savings plans.Salary range: $180,000 - $185,000.To apply, email resume to equezada@hudson-advisors.com with Associate Corporate Private Equity 2025 in subject line.
