Job Description

The Financial Analyst will provide valuable insights and support decision-making through financial analysis and reporting. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to drive financial performance and contribute to the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including revenue and expense analysis, profitability analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with different departments to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgeted targets.

  • Prepare regular financial reports, management dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the direct manager.

  • Identify and assess financial risks, such as credit risk, market risk, and liquidity risk.

  • Utilize financial data and analytics tools to extract meaningful insights. Present complex financial information in a clear and visually appealing manner to facilitate understanding and decision-making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and product development, to gather financial data, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment on financial objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with the fintech industry, including its trends, technologies, and regulatory environment, is highly beneficial. Understanding the unique financial aspects of fintech companies, such as transaction processing, payment systems, or digital lending, can provide a competitive edge.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using tools like Microsoft Excel, SQL, or statistical software.
  • Experience in financial modeling and forecasting techniques is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
