COME BE A MEMBER OF OUR TEAM! _The position that we are currently recruiting for is:_ **J** **ob Title:** Fork Lift Driver **FLSA Status:** Non-exempt **Summary** Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, materials, and equipment by performing the following duties. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned. + Follows safety regulations and company guidelines. + Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving materials. + Stock facility and storage areas and maintain order and cleanliness. + Transporting materials to different locations inside facility. + Analyzes production schedule to determine timely transportation of materials and products. + Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies. + Organizing and securing loads to make sure they are properly stacked. + Picking and wrapping orders for shipment. + Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs. **Competencies** + Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines. + Teamwork - Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; Contributes to building a positive team spirit; Supports everyone's efforts to succeed. + Ethics - Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values. + Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. + Initiative - Asks for and offers help when needed. **Education and/or Experience** + High school education or GED; or up to six-months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Prior Forklift experience Champion Home Builders is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
